Privacy Policy
McTrivia · Last updated October 30, 2026
In short: McTrivia does not collect, sell, share or track your personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
What stays on your device
McTrivia stores the following only on your iPhone or iPad: your display name and avatar, your settings, your game history, scores, streaks and statistics, the questions you have missed, and your daily challenge and challenge results. This data is not sent to me or to any server. If you delete the app, it is removed.
What I collect
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs and no tracking. It does not use data to identify you across other companies' apps or websites.
Features that use Apple services
- Game Center (optional). If you are signed in to Game Center, McTrivia may submit your daily challenge score to Apple's Game Center leaderboard. That data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. I do not receive it.
- Notifications (optional). If you allow them, McTrivia schedules daily reminders locally on your device. No notification data leaves your device.
- Widget. The home screen widget reads your streak from storage shared between the app and its widget on your device.
- Challenges. If you send a challenge to a friend, the app creates a file, link or code that you share yourself through the iOS share sheet (for example Messages or AirDrop). It contains the challenge questions and your score and chosen name. It goes only where you send it.
- Reporting a question. If you choose “Report a problem,” the app opens an email draft addressed to me. Nothing is sent unless you send that email, and then I receive what you wrote and your email address.
Children
McTrivia does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices ever change, I will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
