Getting started
How do I get set up?
- Open the app and enter an athlete’s name.
- Choose Basketball or Hockey, then tap Get Started.
- Open the athlete from the Dashboard and tap Create Goal.
- Head to the Log tab to record your first practice.
How do goals and timelines work?
Pick a shot target of 5,000, 8,000, or 10,000 — or set your own — and choose a start and end date. You can track Total Shots (attempts only) or Made Shots (makes and accuracy). The athlete’s page then shows your progress, remaining shots, shots per day, days left, and whether you’re on pace.
To change a goal later, open the athlete, tap the pencil icon, and choose Modify Goal.
How do I log shots?
On the Log tab, choose the date, then type the total shots or tap +10 to add them quickly. Tap Log Shots to save.
Shot types are optional. Tick the ones that apply (for example 3-pointer or layup in basketball, wrist shot or slap shot in hockey), enter how many of each, and anything left over is counted as Mixed Shots. You can add notes too.
Can I track more than one athlete?
Yes — up to five. Tap Add Athlete on the Dashboard or the + on the Log tab. Each athlete has their own sport, goal, progress, and history, and you can switch between them with one tap.
Exporting & your data
How do I export or print a shot log?
Open the athlete, tap the pencil icon, then choose Export Data. Pick PDF, CSV, or Excel (.xlsx). The standard iOS share sheet opens so you can save to Files, AirDrop, email it, or print it. The export includes the athlete’s goals and every logged session, including shot types and notes.
Where is my data stored? Is there an account?
There are no accounts. Everything is stored only on your device, and nothing is sent to me or anyone else. See the Privacy Policy for details.
I got a new phone — how do I keep my data?
Because data lives only on your device, the easiest ways to bring it along are to restore the new phone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one, or to export each athlete (see above) to keep a copy of their history. It’s a good habit to export a log now and then.
How do I delete an athlete or all my data?
Open the athlete, tap the pencil icon, and choose Delete Athlete. This permanently removes that athlete’s goals, progress, and shot history. Deleting the app removes everything. Deleted data can’t be recovered.
