This policy explains how 10k Shot Club (“the app”), published by Tom McInerney (TMcBuilds) and referred to below as “I,” “me,” or “my,” handles information when you use it.
Information you enter
To track practice, you can enter athlete names, a sport (basketball or hockey), shot goals and dates, daily shot counts, shot types, and optional notes. This information is stored only on your device. I do not receive it, and I have no server or database that could hold it.
Information I do not collect
- Your name, email address, or any account or contact details
- Location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data
- Analytics, crash reports, or usage tracking
- Advertising identifiers (the app contains no ads)
- Any of the athlete, goal, or shot information you enter
Third parties
The app does not include any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks. It does not track you across other apps or websites.
Exporting your data
The app can create a PDF, CSV, or Excel file of an athlete’s goals and shot history. These files are created on your device and handed to the standard iOS share sheet. Where a file goes next — saved to Files, emailed, printed, or sent to a coach — is entirely your choice. I never see exported files.
Device backups
If you use iCloud Backup or back up your device to a computer, Apple may include the app’s data in that backup. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy, not by me.
Children’s privacy
The app is meant to be used by athletes of all ages, including children, often alongside a parent or coach. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing about a child that I collect, use, or share. There are no accounts, no ads, no links out to the web, and no way to communicate with other users.
Deleting your data
Because your data lives only on your device, you control it. You can remove an athlete (and all of that athlete’s goals and shot history) from the athlete’s Edit screen, or delete everything at once by deleting the app. Deleted data cannot be recovered by me, since I never had it.
Security
Your information is protected by your device’s own security, such as your passcode and iOS data protection. Since nothing is transmitted to me, there is no remote system of mine where your data could be exposed.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top of this page. If the app ever begins collecting information, this policy will be updated before that change ships.
