Privacy Policy Last updated: August 24, 2026 This Privacy Policy describes how Batter Up Beats ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. Overview Batter Up Beats is designed to help coaches and team organizers manage batting orders and walk-up songs for youth baseball. We built this app with your privacy in mind: we do not operate any servers, we do not collect your personal data, and we do not sell or share any information with third parties. Information We Access Apple Music Data The App uses Apple's MusicKit framework to let you search for and play songs from your Apple Music subscription. To do this, the App requests permission to access Apple Music on your behalf. This connection is handled entirely by Apple's systems — we do not receive, store, or have access to your Apple Music account credentials, listening history, or subscription details. Apple's own privacy policy governs how Apple Music data is handled: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ Roster and Song Data You Enter Information you enter into the App — such as batter names, jersey numbers, batting order, and song selections — is stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to us or to any external server, because the App does not have a backend. If you delete the App, this data is deleted along with it. Information We Do Not Collect We do not collect, store, or have access to: Your name, email, or contact information Location data Analytics or usage tracking data Advertising identifiers Any data entered into the App (rosters, batter info, song assignments) Third-Party Services The App integrates with Apple Music (via MusicKit) to provide song search and playback. No other third-party services, analytics tools, or advertising networks are integrated into the App. Children's Privacy While this App is designed for use by coaches and team organizers (adults) managing information about youth sports teams, the App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Batter names entered by a coach are stored locally on the coach's own device and are never transmitted anywhere. Data Security Because all data is stored locally on your device and we do not operate servers or databases, there is no remote system of ours where your data could be exposed. Your device's own security (passcode, encryption, etc.) protects this locally stored data. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
